Welcome to my new blog.
In recent months I’ve said more than once to my husband that I would like to start a food blog. I love food. I love eating it and I love talking about it but I’m not always so great at cooking it.
When it comes to things of the culinary persuasion my husband is definitely the superior cook in the house but one of my goals for the year of 2013 is to go out of my comfort zone and cook beyond my standard thought process (read KD and Wieners) and get back into the habit of baking, something I am pretty good at.
So there’s where the title comes from. Fumbling in my adventures with food, trying to be more diverse in my cooking, going out to eat at places I’ve never been to before and sharing it all here in this space.
I just want to put this out there:
I usually cook from a recipe. When I share them on here I intend to always source where it came from and give credit where it is due. This blog is about my experiences and growth as a person in the kitchen and not so much a showcase for any original recipes.
